BURNING INSTRUCTIONS: Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting each time and on a heat proof plate.
MEMORY BURN: When burning the pillar for the first time it must be blown out before it reaches the edge of the pillar, leaving at least a 1cm rim. This sets the memory of the pillar and is a extremely important step in ensuring the pillar burns well and does not spill over the sides.
Once the pillar has been burning for approximately three to four hours, or when the wax has melted leaving a 1cm rim, the pillar should be blown out.
ALLOW RESET: After your first memory burn it is then important to blow out the pillar and allow it to fully reset before lighting again. Always trim the wick back to 5mm before lighting and for each burn after light for no longer than 4 hours at a time. Always keep the wax pool clean from debris.
