Always trim your wooden wick to 2.5mm before lighting each time. Always make sure the wax pool is to the edge before extinguishing to prevent tunnelling. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. If your wick is struggling, it's time to extinguish, let set for 2 hours, trim away burnt pieces and relight.
